Brilliant earth — rethink

Client: Brilliant Earth — RETHINK, The Jane Goodall Collection

My role: 3D Design & Motion

Deliverables: Loopable Social Media Videos

Brilliant Earth commissioned me to create a 3D animated film for the launch of the Jane Goodall Collection. The film visualises captured CO₂ transforming into polished diamonds, connecting the collection’s material story with its focus on sustainability and planet-first innovation.

My role covered R&D, look development, 3D design, motion and final compositing, working closely with Brilliant Earth’s creative team on the concept and direction.

This project felt very special to me, bringing my work in 3D and motion together with a message about sustainability and planet-first innovation.

3D Design & Motion

R&D: From CO₂ to Diamond

A central challenge was visualising captured CO₂ becoming a diamond. I explored how the forms could shift and grow, from abstract particle flows to more literal crystallisation. These experiments established the motion language for the final film.

R&D: The World of “RETHINK”

Another area of exploration focused on the word RETHINK and the world around it. I tested building the letters from fragments of diamonds, along with several treatments of the word itself.

The final direction used the brand’s typeface, placing it in a glowing, dreamlike space with a purple-pink sky and diamonds catching the light. The camera floats through the scene as if moving inside a diamond.
